About the Training
The faith community is strategically positioned to help reduce suicide risk. Believers are called to be the community that has eyes to see and ears that hear. One Reason Two Live (1R2L) trains participants to have the eyes and ears to recognize the risk even when there are no overt signs of such risk. 1R2L features the same Listen Learn Lead curriculum used in the Intervene Challenge to train more than 31,000 individuals nationwide in the skills that save lives. The big difference is that 1R2L takes the next step in bringing it back to a relationship with Jesus as the foundation, the One reason to live when those who are hurting feel all hope is gone.
